The note also confirmed that the task of placing the network cables for it will be done in two weeks.

In addition, the JioFiber service will be deployed as a preliminary offer initially. It is revealed that under the preliminary offer of JioFiber, users will get unlimited service at 100Mbps per month with a 100GB FUP. During the first three months, the company will not charge users but will collect the security deposit of Rs. 4,500 that will be a fully refundable one who opts to leave the service. Basically, the concept of escrow is similar to Rs. 1,500 that is charged by the JioPhone.

While the JioFiber comes to Delhi-NCR, it is already available in select cities like Noida and Gurgaon. The company is planning to expand service to more than 100 locations by the end of this year.

In addition to revealing these details, it has also indicated the upcoming digital services offered by Reliance. According to a report in PhoneRadar, the company is working on a Jio laptop. It is said that the notebook is similar to Apple's 13.3-inch MacBook Air in design.

In terms of specs, the new notebook is expected to come with a 13.3-inch Full HD display with 16: 9 aspect ratio. Along with 4G support, it also comes with a high definition camera for video calls.

The report also goes on to say that the laptop will come equipped with a chiclet keyboard and feature a magnesium alloy body and do not have a cooling fan. The Jio notebook is also speculated to come with an Intel Premium quad-core processor along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable SSD storage up to 64GB through eMMC storage. On the front of the connectivity, it can offer 4G, LTE, Bluetooth, HDMI port, 2 USB ports and a microSD card slot.

PhoneRadar claims that Jio may be in talks with Taiwanese contract maker Foxconn to begin producing them.

Coming soon. A Jio laptop that supports a Jio 4G sim.

Apart from telecommunications, users will be aware that Reliance Jio has its own line of smartphones under the 'Lyf' brand that quickly took off given its aggressive pricing for decent specifications.

Returning to the laptop, the report suggests that the budget jio laptop sport a 13.3 inches Full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution) display with an aspect ratio of 16: 9. Other specs include 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal eMMC storage ( Integrated multimedia controller) or 128 GB SSD (Solid State Drive). The laptop is also touted to be only 12.2 mm thick and expected to weigh around 1.2 Kgs. In addition to 4G LTE, the laptop will also support Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, Micro HDMI port and a slot for Micro SD cards. There has been no word on the chipset, from now on, and it is likely that the notebook will work with Windows or Chrome OS since all its applications support Android and iOS.

While all this sounds like a real possibility, readers are advised not to wait too long or postpone their plans to buy. In all likelihood, this information could be a speculative story. The price is also something that is still to come since the specifications easily put a laptop like this in the 30K range. A price that does not fit with a Jio as a possibility of massive updating. In addition, the notebook market also happens to be more evolved, with stronger brand preferences and corporate offerings in place. The corporate market represents the greater part of the market, followed by students.

On the other hand, the concept of implementing Jio SIM inside a laptop seems interesting and will take the flow once Reliance Jio is established nationwide. Interestingly, this is not the first time we are witnessing a manufacturer giving a choice of 4G LTE connectivity inside a laptop. Last year, Xiaomi introduced Notebook Air 4G in China, which supports Cat.4 4G LTE offering a download speed of 150 Mbps.
