The Samsung Galaxy Book is a tablet that runs the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. This tablet comes in two convenient sizes and can easily be replaced by a desktop when you add the included keyboard.

You get a 7th Gen Intel Core processor in the 12-inch model along with 8GB or 4GB of RAM and 256GB or 128GB solid-state drive. The 10-inch model features an Intel Core m3 processor and 4 GB of built-in RAM and a solid state drive of 128 GB or 64 GB. The bonus with these tablets is that they both include a keyboard and S Pen that never need charging.

You can easily connect to your Samsung devices with Samsung Flow. This allows you to wirelessly share files without Wi-Fi Plus, as well as send and receive text messages and respond to notifications directly from the tablet.

The keyboard and S Pen are included with the tablets, but you will have to pay for a mouse and an optional SD card. The detachable keyboard connects magnetically to contact and has an adjustable stand so you can work at any angle that suits you. It also shrinks flat against the screen so you can set it as easily as set up.

The included S Pen is equipped with tilt recognition to provide a natural writing experience. It has one of the finest points of the pen and detects more than 4,000 pressure points.

Samsung Update : Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 on T-Mobile get Android 7.0 Nougat update

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 on T-Mobile get Android 7.0 Nougat. The carrier released the Android Nougat 7.0 update for the Samsung tablet.

All Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 units running on the T-Mobile network will receive the Android Nougat 7.0 update, with the monthly trailer security patch. The update for Galaxy Tab S2 that carries the baseband version T817TUVU2BQE2 was extended to all units of the tablet on Monday, June 5. On the company's support page, the change log has not shared much about the improvements the update will bring other than Nougat custom enhancements.

The changelog does not mention the month security patch that this update will bring with you. Therefore, it can not be confirmed whether the Galaxy Tab S2 will benefit from the June or slightly older security patch.

The download files weigh 1006.80 MB, so be sure to keep about 1 GB of free space on your Galaxy Tab S2. The OTA update will be phased out, and it may take some time before all users receive the update on their devices.

Things to do before the upgrade

T-Mobile recommends that all users of the Galaxy Tab S2 ensure that the tablet battery contains at least 50 percent or more of the battery. Apart from this, users should need to connect the Samsung tablet to a strong data or Wi-Fi connection for smooth, untroubled transfer and installation. It would also be convenient to back up all the important data.

Galaxy Tab S2 software update: OTA and manual

In case the update of Android Nougat reaches the smartphone automatically, users do not need to do much once they receive the alert. Simply use the update option for Android Nougat.

Once the download is completed, the user will have to select whether to install the update now or later. If the user selects to refresh the tablet from time to time, the installation process will begin and the system will prompt you to restart to update the device to the latest version.

However, if the user decides to download and install the update manually, then he would have to download and install Samsung Smart Switch first on his laptop or PC. Once you do all you have to do is connect the tablet to the computer and link it to the Smart Switch application.

Once the link is established, open the Smart Switch application and look for the Android Nougat update. If the update is available, it will appear in the Smart Switch application window. All that the user would have to do is click Update to start downloading the files to the tablet. You can then follow the onscreen instructions on the tablet to install the firmware.
