Tablet Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is a laptop, a projector and 3D camera

Tablet Lenovo ThinkPad X1 can turn into a laptop, a projector and 3D camera. Each computer manufacturers tried to create the perfect tablet that makes a little more than usual, and now Lenovo has a fresh look at that formula. Today at CES, Lenovo launched the ThinkPad X1 Tablet. This Lenovo Tab is a regular 12-inch tablet Equipped with the latest Intel Core chipset M7, but also a little more.

Lenovo's Yoga series is known for its unique view of the laptop with his comings and goings and is now trying to modularize the tablet. During the main part of the ThinkPad X1 looks like any other Windows tablet but three modules can be attached to the bottom thereof it can change into a portable computer, a projector or a 3D camera. Modules are like batteries and battery life "productivity" is long for another five hours extended with HDMI and USB ports.

Modules "presenter" Lenovo includes an advanced projector to project a 60-inch screen at the bottom of the ThinkPad X1. The last module in combination to capture and manipulate objects for 3D printing with Intel REAL SENSE camera. We have seen these cameras are on desktop and laptop computers, but not occupied by many tablets and taken advantage of 3D images. Put a 3D camera on the bottom of the ThinkPad X1 really only detect objects, and not two, as a webcam.

The main problem with Lenovo modules here is that they are incredibly complicated and difficult to connect. You have to peel a case which includes the connection terminals and fixing the modules includes releasing some screws so that they are leveled. Everything is a little too complicated for regular use.

The modules are difficult to fix a little.

While the modules to be mildly uncomfortable, the combination of Lenovo also uses a kickstand and the keyboard, as used by Microsoft Surface tablets. The ThinkPad X1 Tablet Keyboard is a ThinkPad keyboard with trackpad TrackPoint. There is even an active stylus for the drawing, but is optional and can cost you additional $50.

There is a small latch that releases the back, and set a number of angles instead of a resistive hinge. Like many other tablets trying to be a laptop, it lacks the simplicity of a full laptop hinge. Nor that it is strong enough, if you tap on the screen with stand, and I knew it would bounce a lot.

My first impression is that Lenovo has perfected the laptop-tablet hybrid, but the additional modules are an interesting concept. Unfortunately, this does not work come bundled with the tablet ThinkPad X1. Additional port camera / 3D battery modules will cost you $149, and the projector $279. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 to launch the tablet in February at $899 price, so you're looking at over $1000, if the functionality of the modules included.

'Selfie 3D' LENOVO VIBE S1 will HIT India on Monday

Lenovo Vibe S1 selfie master with the most advanced camera in the world is now available at select retailers in India.

The phone has not been launched throughout the world however and it seems that India will receive this smartphone first in world.

The price of Lenovo Vibe S1 is around Rs 20000 - 22,000. Vibe S1 smartphone features a  Full HD screen of five inches and is quite similar to Vibe shot launched last month priced at Rs 24,000 in India.

The main rear camera of Lenovo Vibe S1 is of 13 MP, but that's not the key selling point. It is the front camera or cameras in this smartphone, which is the main selling point of the phone.

The dual front facing cameras are of 8 MP and 2 MP. The secondary 2MP camera sole job is to help to detect the depth of the image and to change the focus if necessary and to help other camera to take a much better 3D selfie image.

Technically, Vibe s1 phone takes photos in 3D. Since there are two cameras side by side (as we have two eyes) makes the device capable to feel the depth and you will find various objects in the image. The phone with dual cameras is in a position to determine which object is standing on the front and which is its background etc.

The rest of the specs of Lenovo Vibe S1 are what you normally expect from mobile phone of this price range.

Lenovo Yoga Tab 8 inch Android Tablet review

Lenovo Yoga Tab Android Tablet review. Everyone wants best Tablets, but many of us do not want the old low quality tablet PC, as we are in a modern era and we want to buy best android tablet PC but without compromising with the budget. Today we review the Lenovo Yoga tab. As the name suggests, it is the third generation of Android Lenovo Yoga family. I saw the original yoga tab in 2013, but that was not quite good but this android tab is the latest version?

I do not want to confuse - that's a great looking tablet. Lenovo has the same basic design, which is great, because it has the best part of the unit. Dials feel a little big, but not too much. This Lenovo Tab has a 8 inch 800 x 1280 display greeted on a solid feeling plastic body. It also have audio jack, power button, the rotating camera, a metal crowbar with a wide range of movement, speakers, and especially the battery. The large battery for 20 hours of usage rated good. The use of the heavy video and Wi-Fi, the results were pretty darn close. Note that the micro-USB port supports USB OTG, so with the appropriate adapter it can even use it to charge your phone.

The quad-core chips used in tablet provides the best video play without delays or stutters. A completely smooth experience from start to end. Then there are the extra inches: not for those who will tell you that it makes no difference is fibbing to hear. I found it particularly useful to read books in public transport. Not as bulky as 10 inch tablet PC but also having a small screen makes a difference.

For audio, Lenovo Yoga 8 inch Tablet has Dolby audio placed on board which makes good use of headphones. Fortunately, if you do not like the function you can easily disabled it from the options. The headset connector, which in a better than many results I've tried a speaker table experience - skip the Nexus out of the water. I doubt, "Audio Killer" is to have the list of people in functions of a tablet, but is certainly not a function to disable.

Lenovo is the only tablet using the bloatware. Everything we have received is Dolby application (for the sound management), Gallery app (Android 5.1 by default only has one photo application), McAfee (erasable), a music application (in addition to the great Google Play Music) application ShareIT Lenovo, Lenovo Sound Recorder and HD SyncIt. Very light compared to what they used to put on, but nothing stood out.

Two other changes Yoga has a rotating camera. Instead of choosing between a front camera and back camera, you have a camera in the pipe part which can be rotated. This is really a wise move. I'd rather have a good 8 MP camera on the back and a bad front.

Check the previous picture. Note that the stand hole? I think the latter more important than the first feature, but I have not enjoyed both times. Overall, the frame long objects is very useful for observing the media and writing via a Blue tooth keyboard.

Speaking of wireless protocols, note that Lenovo 8 inch tab have no NFC chip. This is still an underutilized technology. They have a Micro SD slot in Nice crutch. Also, keep in mind that due to the adoption of the OS on the tablet, you may not be able to drop in future updates of full operating system. Personally I like the Android 5.5.1 and think that it is appropriate for the coming years, so it's not something you need to lose sleep. However, if you are someone who likes your tablet mod, remember that Lenovo's usually not the best candidates for this purpose.

With these caveats, we still have more functionality than Price. Now Lenovo sells record of Lenovo Yoga 3 for only $169. This is a good price for a solid Android device in style.
