QiKU to start selling its first smartphone in India this month. QiKU smartphone maker, launched its high-end smartphone QiKU Terra at a price of $314 (about Rs 20,600), a couple of weeks ago in China, now the smartphone is going to launch in India this month. The company made its first flash sale of Qiku Terra in China and sold 35,000 units in 8 seconds of sale.
It is expected that smart phone of brand QiKU have two versions QIKU Terra 808 and QIKUTerra 810. The Qiku smart phone features of a qHD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. It is powered by x64 octa Core Snapdragon 810 processor of Qualcomm, with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone also comes with an internal memory of 64 GB. No details have been announced about a microSD card slot.
The device consists of two 13MP cameras (Sony IMX278 sensor, f/1.8), on the back of the phone and a front camera of 8 megapixels. The phone comes with Android operating system 360, a variant of the Android 5.1 Lollipop. The phone also has a fingerprint reader on the back and a 3,700mAh battery completes the set.
The QiKU Terra 808 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, 3GB RAM, 16 GB built-in memory and has the same specifications of the camera. The company is a joint venture between Qihoo 360 and Coolpad, which was announced on August 26. No data were provided for the availability and price.
