Another user said: "Even in my Nexus 5 with Lollipop 5.1 I have the same problem only active 3G or LTE Mobile Radio but Ok with Wi-F enabled". 

Notably, the tracker includes complaints from the owners of non-Nexus devices as well such as the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S6, Motorola Moto X (Gen 2) and HTC One M8. 

Google has yet to recognize the problem and provide a solution. 

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that Android users have reported the problem of battery drain as the problem has existed for some time. A problem similar battery drain was reported last year, so multiple Nexus 5 owners run the latest version of Android 5.0 Developer Preview Lollipop reported battery drain bug, while Wi-Fi.
